I’m a busy single mom!  I’m 40 something years old with 5 children all together.  Three of my boys are all over the age of 21 and out of the house.  In the home is my 14yo. son and 5yo daughter (she’ll be 5 in October).  Yes, I started over just as I was seeing freedom but she is the light of my life and in 4 years it will just be me and her and I am actually looking forward to this adventure.

I currently am blessed with the ability to stay home with my children.  After raising my older children while working sometimes multiple jobs I have become a  firm believer that mothers (or at least one parent) should be home when the children are home.  Unfortunately this is not possible for many – especially single moms.

It is one of my goals in life to return and finish college in order to work with young women to help them avoid or get over some of the hurdles of being a single mom.
